What to watch

1. Will the Kings rest players?

There are 13 games left in the Kings’ season. With the end in sight, will Michael Malone look to rest some of his workhorses in today’s match-up with the Bucks? Isaiah Thomas‘ injury to his left wrist has taken its toll on the starting point guard, especially in terms of his shooting stroke. Today could be an opportunity for Ray McCallum to get extended time. Also, Rudy Gay is coming off a game in which a stomach bug sidelined him from action. Like Thomas, this could be a good time give the veteran small forward some time off.

2. Will Royce White see extended minutes?

White finally made his long-awaited NBA debut on Friday night. He played the final 56 seconds of the 20-point loss against the San Antonio Spurs. White now has a game and two days of practice under his belt. Against a team with one of the worst records in the NBA, this could be a great opportunity for Michael Malone to give White some extended playing time.

3. The Greek Freak vs. Ben McLemore

Giannis Antetokounmpo has become an underground sensation among those who closely follow the NBA. The 19-year-old phenom has approached the first year of his NBA career with a child-like innocence not normally seen at this level. Like Antetokounmpo, Ben McLemore is also finding his way in the NBA. He’s faced many challenges in his first NBA season, but probably none as physically imposing as his fellow rookie counterpart. Antetokounmpo is expected to start at shooting guard opposite the Kings rookie guard.
