As the Nets return from their two-and-a-half week cross-country road journey, two of their most important players finally return to the team's starting lineup. After missing five games since the Nets' loss on Saturday, March 23rd in LA vs the Clippers with heel and quad injuries, Joe Johnson is expected to play tonight alongside with Gerald Wallace, who missed Brooklyn's game yesterday, a win in Cleveland over the Cavaliers.

With the starting lineup fully intact for the first time in awhile, the Nets have a real interesting barometer game this evening against the Bulls, one of the Eastern Conference teams that is in a similar situation to what the Nets are in with regards to jockeying for position in the playoff race. However, Chicago is missing a bunch of its own guys too, as Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Marco "Net-killer" Belinelli, Rip Hamilton, and even Brooklyn native Taj Gibson are all either out or game-time decisions for Tom Thibodeau's team. It looks like the Nets are getting a break tonight.

Probable Lineups

CHI- Hinrich (PG), Butler (SG), Deng (SF), Boozer (PF), Mohammed (C)

BKN- Williams (PG), Johnson (SG), Wallace (SF), Evans (PF), Lopez (C)

Final Thoughts

A good chance for the Nets to get a statement win against another good playoff team. Big opportunity that shouldn't be wasted.
