Kings fans have traditionally offered warm receptions to ex-players. Though Robinson’s tenure was short, he may be afforded that same luxury if he gets to play.
2. What kind of reception will Francisco Garcia receive from those in attendance?
Garcia was the last active link to the Kings’ glory days of the early 2000s. From players to coaches and front office personnel, he is well-respected by everyone in the Kings organization. His enduring professionalism despite career setbacks endured him to Kings fans during his eight-year stay in Sacramento. Garcia will likely receive a huge round of applause from tonight’s crowd.
3. Which, if any, of the former Rockets-turned-Kings is a factor in tonight’s game?
Patrick Patterson said he’s not looking for revenge against his former team this evening. Rather, the Kings power forward is focusing on playing within himself as he squares off against a few familiar faces. If either Jason Thompson or DeMarcus Cousins struggle, Patterson will probably be heavy minutes this evening.
