With two games remaining in the 2013-14 regular season, the Brooklyn Nets are currently the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference and up 1.5 games on the Washington Wizards, the current No. 6 seed. The Wizards end their season tomorrow night in Boston against the Celtics as the Nets end theirs in Cleveland.

What does this mean? If the Nets lose out and Washington wins tomorrow, the tiebreak-holding Wizards will be the 5 and the Nets the 6. In this situation, Brooklyn would most likely play the Raptors and Wizards would play the Bulls. However, if the Nets win either of their final two games or the Wizards lose tomorrow, Brooklyn would assume the 5 and Washington the 6. Then, the Nets would probably face off with division rival Toronto and Washington and Chicago would battle.

It should be noted that in only the first situation would the Nets be able to play the Miami Heat in a potential 2nd round matchup, as in the second they could only face the defending champs in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Probable Lineups
