Florida State completed a perfect home slate on Saturday with a convincing 52-13 victory over FCS power Chattanooga on Senior Day. With the win, the FSU senior class equaled a school-record for wins over a 4-year span with 48. The Seminole seniors could break that record next week with a win over rival Florida, but looking back on Saturday’s win over the Mocs, the Noled Out staff hands out game balls.

Offense

Unanimous Game Ball: Dalvin Cook, RB
Florida State sophomore running back Dalvin Cook’s All-American caliber season continued on Saturday as Cook rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Cook also had a reception for five yards. Cook eclipsed Warrick Dunn’s single-season FSU rushing record last week and on Saturday, Cook broke Greg Allen’s FSU record for all-purpose yards set in 1982. Cook has 1,682 total yards this season and 17 total touchdowns.

Defense

Freshman safety Derwin James continues to be all over the field for Florida State. On Saturday, James recorded a game-high 10 total tackles, including seven solo stops and a tackle for loss. James is FSU’s second leading tackler on the year.

Special Teams

Mike Ferguson and Clint Eiland’s Game Ball: Cason Beatty, P
Florida State punter Cason Beatty punted just once in his final game at Doak Campbell Stadium, but that one punt was a booming 52-yard punt that pinned Chattanooga inside the 10-yard-line.

Jon Marchant’s Game Ball: Roberto Aguayo, K
FSU junior kicker Roberto Aguayo attempted just one field goal on Saturday, but made good on his 18-yard attempt. Aguayo was also a perfect 7-for-7 on PATs and had six of his nine kickoffs go for touchbacks.
