This preview might suck. We’re kinda rushing before we head off to the game.
Some people are hyping this as Game 8 of the Stanley Cup Finals ’cause they’re delussional about what happened in June (or in complete denial). We get it. We did it with the Pats in that Super Bowl that never happened against the Giants.
Let’s be clear: what happens today doesn’t change what happened in June.
It’s still a big game though. The Canucks, after a slow start like the Bs, are doing pretty well again this year. A Bruins-Canucks rematch is definitely possible. Pevs knows it.
Peverley: “Obviously a lot of hype…but it’s a big two points because we’re still trailing the Rangers.”
It should be physical. There’s still animosity between these two teams.
No Rome. No Luongo.
Bwah?
That’s right. Hometown boy Schneider is getting the call over Luongo. This means LOLongo is only going to hear it more. But to be fair he’s starting off in Boston this year where he ended in Boston last year — on the bench.
Way the Bruins are playing and scoring lately we could see LOLongo by the second period. We’ll see. Schneider is no push over — unlike Luongo.
Here are some pics posters to send around the Internet or print out for today’s game. Click the pics for bigger versions.
Fans were actually saying “WE WANT TEN” but whatever. ESPN sucks. We know this.
