Ahhh those pesky Maple Leafs. Bruins are in trouble tonight. They’ve lost two in a row to Detroit and Toronto just traded away Kris Versteeg and brought in Aaron Voros. Haven’t seen a player that good since the last time we watched some dude with no arms play hockey.
Anyway, if you’re going to the game tonight our pal Cornelius from the Hockey Blog Adventure had a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious idea for tonight’s game.
We all know Kessel is a sensitive litte flower, so maybe you should help out Cornelius and get the following chant going:
“No one wants you” was also suggested by our buddy over at PuckSage, if you really hate Kessel and want to make him cry. We’re down with either one, so let’s make it happen folks.
Maybe we’ll get to see more of this tonght.
After the jump…… Brian Burke keeps making himself look dumber and Kessel hates playing the Bruins…..
No idea what is going on with that Voros trade. Maybe Burke is trying to tank and get a higher draft pick. Oh wait, the Bruins have Toronto’s pick. Riiiiiiiiiight. Hmm.
Kessel hasn’t scored a goal in 14 games and has never scored against the Bruins. Here’s to hoping that streak stays alive tonight as we sip on sweet, sweet Kessel tears.
We’re not big Kaberle fans here but we’re kind of hoping that on a Leafs powerplay he just leaves the blueline, skates to center ice and rips open his Leafs jersey to reveal a Bruins logo and scores on Toronto. Awesome.
Three-quarters of the DOY crew will be at Jerry Remy’s bar to find out if we’ve won the NE Sports Blogging Award for “Best Bruins Blog.” The last 1/4 will be at the Bruins game tonight — #dedicaton. We’re an outside shot, a darkhorse going up agaisnt some Bruins blogging leviathens, but we’ll be optimistic anyways. Either way, big thanks to those who showed us some love with votes.
