Oh, hello old friends! No hard feelings, right?
This is going to mark the fifth game between the Bruins and the Sabres and will be a tiebreaker of sorts. Boston won the first two meetings, whereas Buffalo took that last two, including that exercise in retardery back on January 1st (much like Jack Edwards, we enjoy making up our own words).

Both teams will be entering the game with momentum. The Sabres just beat out the Canadiens in OT on Tuesday, and the Bruins did some terrible things to Carolina earlier this week. Both teams will be entering the game with momentum. In case you haven’t heard, Drew “thorn in our side” Stafford will not be playing today. We’re not claiming to know anything about it, but if you read our last Buffalo recap, you’d know the Patrice Purrgeron had plans for our young friend.
That’s right, no hat tricks for you mother fucker! Stafford is sitting out with a sore groin, the jokes write themselves.
After the jump…ever want to see Lindy Ruff in a diaper?
In the hours leading up to a Buffalo game we always wonder what is going to bring Lindy to tears this time. Don’t get us wrong, it could be something fairly legitimate, like a bad call by the refs or Drew Stafford’s absence. But you never know, it could also be that his team’s guardian looks like a cross between a constipated Iceman and Mr. Freeze.
Well he does!
Ruff’s grips are like a scavenger hunt, they’re not always obvious, but look closely and you’ll probably find him crying over something. Don’t believe us? I refer you to one of our early posts: Lindy Ruff Needs a Wah-bulance.
Projected Roster:
Michael Ryder-Marc Savard-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Mark Recchi
Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Tyler Seguin
Blake Wheeler-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton
Zdeno Chara-Steven Kampfer
Dennis Seidenberg-Johnny Boychuk
Mark Stuart-Andrew Ference
Tuukka Rask
Tim Thomas
Nothing official at the time this is being written, but Rask was the first goalie off the ice, maybe time for a little redemption after getting pulled last time? Ference also looks good to go and looks to be replacing McQuaid tonight.
