- How awful is my Spanish? Eight years of Spanish in school and that was the best I could come up with.
- Just how injured is Torii? He was healthy enough to play yesterday, but today the turf is just too much for his balky groin. I would like to think that this is just Scioscia being overly cautious, but I with the way the injuries have gone for the Halos this year, I wouldn’t be surprised if he found his way to the DL before long.
- Can the bullpen survive? The Bullpen of Doom is now even thinner than ever with Jose Arredondo getting demoted to the minors. Someone is going to have to step up to fill the void, but I don’t know that anyone is actually up to the task.
- Rivera batting third? Is it possible Scioscia is finally seeing the light and realizing Vlad is a shell of his former self? Hell must be frozen over.
