Today it was confirmed that South Carolina Men’s Hoops Coach Darrin Horn landed the first commitment of his tenure as the University of South Carolina men’s basketball coach.
Lakeem Jackson, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound swingman from Arden, N.C., has committed to USC over Clemson University, Marquette, Georgia Tech and Western Kentucky. Jackson, who will be part of Horn’s 2009 recruiting class, averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists this past season.
Anybody heard anything on this kid? Well it is good to see Horn working the recruiting circuit and keep reeling them in!
