Gamecocks Basketball: Efficiency Ratings of Team Through First 12 Games

The South Carolina men’s basketball team is 6-6 through the first 12 games of the 2013-2014 season. This year has certainly had some 'ups and downs'. Through it all, keep in mind that the team is young and really new to each other as there are eight newcomers on the squad this season learning how to play the "Gamecocks-style of basketball." As we pointed out earlier, we believe Coach Frank Martin will turn the program around in time but it may not be this year.

So what about this team and how are they doing? Well, one measurement we watch to see who is performing at a high level for the USC hoops squad, is to analyze a player’s efficiency rating. We will try to report back after each game as much as possible. Below you will see a listing, from best to worst, of player’s efficiency ratings thus far in the season. Keep in mind not all players have seen the court all twelve games but you can still see who has been performing well when given the chance.
