in attendance.
The SEC released the regular season attendance totals for all teams on Sunday. South Carolina was first in attendance in the East and fourth overall drawing 221,219 fans, an average of 6,703 per game. The averages are below:
SEC East
South Carolina | 6,703 |
Florida | 3,434 |
Georgia | 2,633 |
Vanderbilt | 2,268 |
Kentucky | 1,859 |
Tennessee | 1,629 |
SEC West
LSU | 10,655 |
Arkansas | 7,819 |
Ole Miss | 6,818 |
Mississippi State | 5,881 |
Alabama | 4,155 |
Auburn | 2,498 |
It’s interesting to see how many much bigger the crowds are in the West. Anyone have a guess why? Also, why doesn’t anyone want to see Auburn play? From everything I hear Plainsman Park is a great venue, they have a good team this year, and they play an exciting brand of baseball.
