The South Carolina Gamecocks football news has been coming in loads today.  We will use this blog post to update you on what you missed rather than try to keep up.  If some other stuff occurs, check back here with us.  Here goes:

Some Enemy News – Arky Style

  • Arkansas will be without top receiver Greg Childs for the season. Childs suffered a patella tendon injury early in the fourth quarter of the Razorbacks’ rout of Vanderbilt.  Childs will need surgery, indicating the kneecap tendon was somehow torn. Coach Bobby Petrino said he’ll need four to six months to recover.
  • Also WR Joe Adams has a ankle issue…watch this.
  • No decision has been made as to whether defensive tackle DeQuinta Jones will play this week. Jones was arrested last week on a marijuana charge.
