Starting cornerback Chris Culliver suffered a torn pectoral muscle Saturday in the 38-24 win over Tennessee, and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said he will be “out a while.”

The South Carolina Gamecocks will play the Florida Gators for what will most likely be the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division Championship on November 13th at 7:15pm on either ESPN or ESPN2 in Gainesville, FL.

USC remained ranked this week but actually dropped a spot in the AP Poll going from 17th to 18th. They remained at 17 in the Coaches Poll.

Arkansas will be without top receiver Greg Childs for the season. Childs suffered a patella tendon injury early in the fourth quarter of the Razorbacks’ rout of Vanderbilt. Childs will need surgery, indicating the kneecap tendon was somehow torn. Coach Bobby Petrino said he’ll need four to six months to recover.

No decision has been made as to whether defensive tackle DeQuinta Jones will play this week. Jones was arrested last week on a marijuana charge.
