University of South Carolina Athletics Director Eric Hyman has upheld the one-game suspension for quarterback Blake Mitchell, it was announced Sunday night. Redshirt freshman Chris Smelley is expected to make the start at quarterback against the Ragin’ Cajuns on Saturday.
