Despite the outcome of the South Carolina – Arkansas game, the coaches for USC got some positive news with the pledge made by OL Kyle Harris (6-3, 283 lbs) to wear the garnet and black starting in 2011.
Kyle Harris, the Lindale, GA native, committed to USC Saturday night while on an unofficial visit for the Arkansas game. Harris is the 23rd recruit and 6th offensive line commitment to say “yes” to the Gamecocks offer for 2011.
Harris is a former Georgia Tech commitment and rated as a 3-star recruit. He also had offers from Clemson, Illinois, Louisville, Auburn, Purdue, Syracuse, GT and Tennessee.
This seems as a great grab for USC and a welcomed addition as everyone knows the OL at USC needs help. Kyle should be able to make a impact from the start as he reminds us of TJ Johnson.
Welcome to Gamecock Nation Kyle Harris.
