Gameday 15: No Releaf In Sight

TOR

Two days, two games against one of the best offensive teams in the league.  Austin Matthews is out, but Toronto still managed to put up 4 goals the other night without him.

At the beginning of the season I thought the Leafs were poised to make deep playoff run.  After seeing their defense/goaltending, I feel less confident about the “deep” part of that.  The hope for the next two games is that the Bruins are able to exploit that and outscore them.  Win or lose, I see these being close, high scoring games.

Pez, on the other hand, said on the latest The Option Skate (available now for Patreon subscribers and Wednesday for everyone else),  that the Bruins would win one of these games by a margin of 3 goals.

Yeah I know I used it the other day, but I like it so I’m using it again.

Though Marchand COULD be back tonight or tomorrow.

Toronto:
J. Lupol (sports hernia)- IR
Austin Matthews (UBI)- DTD

Wait, “Danger” IS his middle name, thats how he really got hurt! Mike Felger  probably hates him then.

Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub (BOS), Sportsnet 590 (TOR)

Gameday 15: No Releaf In Sight

It’s a Friday, and a cold one (in Boston anyways) so it’s time to bundle up.  Whats more comfortable on a chilly day than a nice, warm flannel shit?  Well, probably a lot of things, but I personally like flannel.

Flannel Friday is an amber ale from Harpoon that is somewhere in between an IPA and an Octoberfest.  There is definitely the maltiness, aroma and color of an Octoberfest, but it finish hoppy like an IPA.  Because I love you guys, I drank both Flannel Friday and Harpoon Octoberfest when writing this and I have to say, I think I prefer the FF for a fall beer.  It’s got a 5.7% ABV and really does drink like the type of beer that is best enjoyed on a cool autumn day.
