Mariners 8 – Angels 3
Raul Ibanez collected his first hit as an Angel with a two run home run in the fourth. But CJ Wilson was roughed up in his season debut, allowing six earned runs and eight hits over 5 2/3 innings. Seattle continued to capitalize on the inability of the Angels to close out innings, scoring seven of their eight runs with two outs.
