The Gang is back for a new season, with a new format, and a new way to listen. Now, you can not only watch the show, but you can also download a podcast and listen to the show that way if you’d prefer.
In week one, the Gang welcomed a special guest Celtics expert… ME!
The show begins with the fellas talking about game one of the preseason (this was recorded before last night’s game), how the Sixers are “gahbige”, and how the program guy at the Garden is probably the most important non-Celtic in the building besides the beer guy is the program guy this year.
I talked about some of the things that popped up in the first game that are worth keeping an eye on. We then talked at length about Rajon Rondo, including how it’s time for him to take the next step in his leadership role and do the one thing he probably hates more than anything… channel Paul Pierce and face the media on a daily basis without going all “Rondo” and shutting people down with one-word answers. If he’s going to be captain, that’s part of his job.
