Gary Clark a Huge Jumper in the Final Rivals 150

Recruiting rankings are all kind of dumb after you get past the elite talent that has been proven to change things, but they are topics of conversation and that’s where we end up today. Rivals has put out it’s final top 150 rankings. A pair of Cincinnati recruits make the list.

One of the gigantic risers was Gary Clark. Clark was a 3 star recruit and ranked 145 when he committed to Cincinnati. Clark was upgraded to a 4 star recruit. Not only that, he jumped into the top 100 at number 87. His monster senior season raised a lot of eyebrows. Here are some highlights.

On the other end of the spectrum, Quadri Moore saw a slight drop in his standing. He was a 4 star when he committed, he’s now listed as a 3 star. His ranking went from 103 to 113. He didn’t have a terrible fall or anything. He’s listed as the 8th best 3 star recruit after being one of the lowest in the top 105. Moore still ranks 103 in the 247 composite rankings, which is higher than Clark.

These are the most recent highlights of Moore I could find on a quick YouTube search:

Keep in mind that recruiting rankings are for the most part dumb. Exhibit 84737:
