The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Orlando Magic 95-89 inside Amway Arena on Wednesday night, despite missing three key players.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich gave Kawhi Leonard, David Lee, and Tony Parker the night off. The result was seeing Pau Gasol getting more comfortable in the silver and black system.

Gasol finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists in 23 minutes. He found the open man for three-pointers and his jumper looked more consistent.

Bryn Forbes continued to impress when he came in the fourth quarter. He connected on two shots from beyond the arc, scoring all 12 points in the final period.

Jonathon Simmons also had a solid night for San Antonio. He finished the night with nine points, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals.
