During his 21-year playing career, George Brett accomplished plenty on the diamond.

  • 1985 World Series Champion and ALCS MVP
  • 1980 American League MVP
  • Sixteenth all-time in hits (3154)
  • Three-time American League batting champion (1976, 1980 and 1990)
  • Thirteen straight All-Star Game appearances (1976-1988)
  • And in 1999, he was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame after receiving an incredible 98.2% of the vote.

But, when it comes to Christmas morning…he’s just like you and me.

Candidate for tweet of the year? You betcha.
