If you’ve ever been at Fenway Park early and want to catch a quick bite to eat, Cask ‘n Flagon right across the street from Fenway Park is always a great option. The Cask announced a new sandwich this afternoon which is named after the Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks.
The sandwich is a BBQ Beef Mac & Cheese Sandwich. It sounds yummy, but that’s not the only reason you should check it out. For the next 15 months, every time someone orders one of Brooksy’s sandwiches, Cask will donate $1 to the Good Sports charity which is near and dear to Will Middlebrooks. Good Sports is a charity that provides sports equipment to underprivileged children across the country. Good Sports has already helped more than 500,000 children nationwide and Middlebrooks is looking to only add to that number.
The sandwich made its reveal today at Cask ‘n Flagon and to get things started Dana Van Fleet, Cask owner, presented Will Middlebrooks with a $1000 donation to Good Sports. Middlebrooks sent out this tweet after the event this afternoon:
