Q: What is your home town/state?

Mayo: Reston, Va

Q: Did you root for a particular NFL team growing up? Who? Why?

Mayo: Yes, growing up I was always a die heart Dallas Cowboy fan mainly because how well they played together as a unit.

Q: Did you have an idol growing up? Who?

Mayo: Michael Irvin was the guy I looked up to. The way he attacked the game and continued to last throughout all the adversity stood out to me the most. His passion for the game was immeasurable.

Q: What are your strengths as a player? What do you bring to the team?

Mayo: My strengths as a player are that I bring versatility to the team. I can be a deep threat factor as well as make plays underneath. I am big and very physical, and I take a lot of pride in my blocking ability. Last but not least my ability to catch passes in traffic.

Q: Why did you choose the Raiders as a free agent?

Mayo: For me, I felt like the Oakland raiders were the best fit for my situation. I want to come in and make an impact early . I am someone who is trying to come out and prove my worth and show people what I can do and with the current receiver core I feel I would be a great addition.

Q: Do you know anyone currently on the squad or coaching staff? What did they tell you about the team?

Mayo: I don’t know anyone personally, but I have to talked to a few coaches and they expect me to come ready to go.

Q: Did you have any visits with the Raiders – in Alameda, at a pro day, at the Combine or Senior Bowl? What was it like?

Mayo: I spoke with the Raiders at my pro day. I felt comfortable with the scout and he seemed like he was very interested in my play.

Q: What hobbies do you have away from football?
Mayo: I love to work out. I love being in the gym and getting better is what makes me happy.

Q: If you’re a gamer, what system and what is your ID so Raider Nation can play against you?

Mayo: I prefer xbox but I can do it all. Haha Madden and 2k I can do all day. Im getting better in fifa as we speak.

Q: Which NFL player do you compare your skill set with?

Mayo: Dez Bryant mixed with a bit of Anquan Boldin. Dez Bryant is explosive and has big play ability. Boldin and I share the strong and physical aspect of the game.

Q: Is there anything you’d like Raider Nation to know about you?

Mayo: I am a fun, humble guy. I am positive guy who loves to win.

Q: Is there anything you’d like to say to Raider Nation?
