The St. Louis Blues managed to pull out a shootout win against the LA Kings despite the fact the Blues were rarely threatening over the course of the game. Brian Elliott stood tall both in the game and in the shootout and the Blues ultimately claimed the two points thanks to a Troy Brouwer snipe.
