Whatever happened to gingerbread house-shaped gingerbread houses?
Yup…that’s a 400-pound gingerbread replica of Wrigley Field. And the best part, everything (except the players on the field) is edible.
“Everybody here, we’re all Cubs fans, so, you know being that the Cubs won the World Series, we just thought it was right to make Wrigley Field,” chef Gerald Madero said.
Madero added that it took more than 70 hours for him and his team to create the miniature Wrigley.
Let’s just hope this thing suffers a better fate than the Wrigley Field anniversary cake that ended up in a dumpster.
