This is an American holiday which celebrates the feeling of gratitude for all the good things we share in life. It also is a day which is hazardous to large Birds of many types, and this year it is not a particularly grateful time to be an Eagles fan.
But I am grateful to all our uniquely intelligent and creative Eagles fans who come here. You have become a family who educates and entertains me on a daily basis. My life would be empty without you.
You remind me that the genuine Eagles fan remains true to his school. He does not turn against the Bird. Even though the Gold Standard may feel like the Fool's Gold Standard at times like this, hard times are temporary in the NFL.
