It’s not often you see goalie fights (unless the Red Wings and Avs are playing), so everyone tends to get pretty excited when one happens. The hype was warranted tonight when Pittsburgh’s Brent Johnson and Rick DiPietro of the New York Islanders went toe-to-toe fist-to-face tonight.
As much as I despise the Penguins, I have to give Johnson credit for (a) coming to his teammate’s defense, and (b) throwing down like a man. I’d have paid to see the girly slap Marc Andre Fleury would have led with.
