Aside from her Olympic glory, Allyson Felix has a decorated resume behind her including fourteen gold medals in various track and field competitions dating back to her gold medal victory in the World Youth Championships when she was just 13 years old. She would go on to become a six-time USA Outdoor 200 meter champion as well as a three-time World Outdoor 200 meter champion making her the second woman to ever win three gold medals at the same World Outdoor Championship in 2007. Since then, she has continuously competed all around the world establishing a big name for herself.
One thing that should never be taken lightly is Allyson Felix’s size. At just 5’6″ and 125 pounds, it is reported that she can leg press 700 pounds and dead lift about 245 pounds. The only thing that may be stronger than Allyson’s legs is her determination. Look for the American track star to add to her already established international glory this summer at the 2012 Olympic games in London.
