ORACLE ARENA, OAKLAND, CA — It was another loss, the Golden State Warriors‘ third straight at home (click here for the recap), but the Warriors stayed true to #DubNation and delivered an exciting nail-biter of a game for the #Roaracle fans.
PRE-GAME
Warriors head coach Mark Jackson addressed a Minnesota Timberwolves beatwriter’s question about Ricky Rubio‘s suspect shot, referencing how Jackson used to shoot against the likes of teammates like Chris Mullin, Reggie Miller, Dell Curry, Allan Houston, Eddie Johnson, and Dale Ellis. After the quote, he added that he lost a lot money to those guys in the process. Jackson also commented on Curry’s incredible array of shots that he’s able to make.
T’wolves coach Rick Adelman was late to his pre-game press conference:
One of the #Timberwolves busses, which has coach Rick Adelman on board among others, is stuck in traffic and not yet at Oracle Arena.

…so Curry’s fellow All-Star starter Kevin Love took over duties and admitted that he would probably have to guard LeBron James, with both All-Star rosters relatively devoid of big men. Meanwhile, we bumped into the Warrior Girls while heading to press row:
At the pregame shootaround, Jordan Crawford showed off his warm-up style and Iguodala practiced corner threes, which would obviously prove to be helpful. Perhaps next time, he will incorporate a free throw in the routine after each make!
IN-GAME
Here are some shots from Oracle, in chronological order. Each post has a progression of the game score during various selected timeouts:
The Warriors had two four-point plays, although Andre Iguodala missed the and-one in the crucial waning moments. Stephen Curry had the other one early in the game on Ricky Rubio. We also saw some new Curry #NBAAllStar jerseys:
There were also cheers for Curry when his an All-Star graphic of him was put on the jumbotron. There was also one timeout where a cannon launching t-shirts took out a piece of the LED boards at the arena:

And so the game came down to Kevin Martin‘s game-winner and Harrison Barnes‘s missed jumper at the buzzer. The anguish of Oracle!
POST-GAME
After the game, Jackson had a long talk with his team:
Media has been waiting to go into presser for awhile. I'd speculate Mark Jackson is having a long talk with the team.

Jackson talked about the last play and praised Curry’s decision, but was frustrated by the bad defense. Iguodala said that they were taking their communication on defense for granted and Curry said that the Warriors needed to “develop that toughness that we had in the playoffs last year”:
