With the Warriors winning 11 out of their last 12, they certainly show no signs of slowing down. Especially, against a weaker Denver Nuggets team, then they faced last year in the 1st Round of the Playoffs. The Warriors will look to beat Denver for the 1st time at Oracle, since knocking them out last year.

Denver is one of those “You never know what you will get out of them” types of teams, they are very inconsistent. They lost 8 straight going into 2014, and then won 5 straight, then loss to Utah. If that doesn’t scream inconsistency at you, I don’t know what team will.

MATCHUPS TO WATCH
Klay Thompson vs. Lawson. Lawson is too quick for Stephen Curry, so Thompson gets the job. His task is to stay in front of Lawson in an effort to cut off driving lanes. If Lawson is shooting jumpers, the Warriors win the battle.

David Lee and Bogut vs. J. J. Hickson and Faried. The Nuggets more often play with the two power forwards, going without a center until 7-foot-1 Timofey Mozgov comes off the bench. Shaw conceivably could start Mozgov to counteract the presence of Bogut. In either case, Bogut and Lee have to offset high-energy guys Hickson and Faried.

LAST 10
Warriors are 9-1, Nuggets 5-5.
