Ok, time to do some blogging for you after being away all day. I’ve been all over the place today. Now let’s give you a few press releases.

This is the schedule of Golf Channel’s original programming this week. I am getting into Big Break Sandals Resort. I’m really enjoying this season. Here’s what’s on tap for Big Break and the other series for Golf Channel this week.

Video Preview: Big Break Sandals Resorts Episode Six Preview

Three past Big Break champions – Kim Welch, Ashley Prange and Briana Vega – will make a surprise visit to Sandals Emerald Bay to compete against the six remaining contestants in the series’ opening challenge, where much more than pride will be on the line.  Later in the episode, another contestant will head home when her putter fails her in the elimination challenge.  The contestants are competing for an opportunity to compete in the 2010 Lorena Ochoa Invitational on the LPGA Tour and the 2010 Dubai Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour.

Video Preview: Golf in America Episode Six Preview

The sixth episode of Golf in America’s new season, hosted by Anthony Anderson, will feature:

·       Keith Anderson – Golf in America visits Keith Anderson, who grew up on the rough streets of Detroit. Through his caddy job at Country Club of Detroit in high school, Anderson   was awarded the Chick Evans Memorial Golf Scholarship to Michigan State University, where he graduated with a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Anderson, now 40, has a successful career designing employee training courses.

·       PGA TOUR Rules Officials – PGA TOUR Rules Officials’ responsibilities go way beyond the scope of simply knowing the USGA rules book. They are responsible for setting up the course each morning, overseeing the volunteers for each tournament and serving as liaisons between the PGA TOUR, the host club, charity organization and local tournament officials. John Feinstein will take viewers behind the scenes at the AT&T National to get an inside glimpse of the PGA TOUR’s Rules Officials in action.

·       Golden Bear Open – Golf in America will travel to St. Louis, Mo., to visit with Fred and Debbie Cavese, who built a
nine-hole course in their backyard. Complete with two ponds and a waterfall, the course serves host to the annual Golden Bear Open (named after Fred’s golf hero).

Destination Golf: Greenbrier (Premiere)

Host Lauren Thompson travels to historic Greenbrier Resort, where she will go whitewater rafting, explore a one-of-a-kind Cold War bunker and will visit four golf courses that are rich in history, having hosted both The Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup.

Top 10: Age is Just a Number (new)

Airtime:          Wednesday, 9-9:30 p.m.

Host:               Lauren Thompson

From Alexis Thompson qualifying for the 2007 U.S. Women’s Open at age 12 to Sam Snead shooting his age (67) in the 1979 Quad Cities Open, host Lauren Thompson will count down the top 10 “age is just a number” moments in golf, with insight from PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour professionals and noted sports journalists.
