Chuck Finder announced today that he’s leaving the Post-Gazette, and I wanted to take a second to acknowledge his work backing up DK on the beat the last couple of seasons and tip my cap to him, blogger to reporter, for the hard work that people like him put in that make both being an out of town Pirate fan and a Pirate blogger possible. He’s still one of the few people brave enough to go on the record with a quote from me (doesn’t that feel like it was a million years ago?!?) in one of the stories that helped me get a little foothold online way back when, which is something I’ll always be grateful for.
