Highly coveted free agent Gordon Hayward, according to reports, is planning on signing with the Boston Celtics, but Hayward’s agent and Hayward himself have not notified anyone about the final decision in Utah.
Although this could be bogus news, the potential of Hayward joining the emerging Celtics could rattle the Eastern Conference significantly.
The 27 year old wing player has been the go to guy in Utah, as the former #9 overall pick back in 2010, has guided Utah this year to a first round playoff victory this year over the LA Clippers but fell short in the advancing round. As we know back in the glory days of college, Gordon Hayward attended Butler University, coached by one of the smartest and youngest coaches in the NCAA at the time Brad Stevens, and the potential reunion for both is very strong.
