Greenchronicity: Jeff Green’s game winners against IND and CLE

GreenCLEss

After last night’s comeback win in Cleveland against the Cavs, Celtics captain Paul Pierce said how it could be scary that the C’s now have added Jeff Green to their list of players that are willing and able to make game winning shots.  Green executed a perfect under-handed lay-up at the correct adjusting angles to complete the come from behind win.  It was a much needed win, especially on the road, their first since March 6th at Indiana.  That gave me a sense of deja vu and for good reason.  While both final plays drawn up by Doc Rivers weren’t exactly the same, they ended the same way: a Green lay-up.

The road win was their 13th of the season (just one more than the “tank-it-for-Oden-or-Durant-2007-team”) and it snapped a brutal five game losing streak.  Check out both plays simultaneously in beautiful synchronicity (oh and if I’m totally wrong with that definition, too bad… I thought it sounded pretty sweet).
