One of the lasting themes from the Celtics 2010-2011 season that will be remembered for quite some time will be "The Trade." Jeff Green was the main piece brought over with the hopes of spelling Paul Pierce and Ray Allen for long stretches of time so they wouldn't burn out in the playoffs, like they did against the LA Lakers the year before. There has been plenty of debate as to why he never fit in here, but he did have some glimpses of inspiring play, just not consistent ones.
Today's matchup is similar to yesterday's in the sense that Green will be going against himself. In a way, this isn't too far off from one of several reasons why he didn't play well consistently here. Needless to say, what Danny Ainge elects to do with him with play a key role in the short and long term future in terms of both the roster and cap flexibility. That's a discussion for another time. Seed #22 – Jeff Green Baseline Slam (G1 ECSF BOS @ MIA) – In a rare moment of aggressive play, albeit in a game that was pretty much already lost, Green goes baseline for a nasty jam. Rajon Rondo spots Green in the left corner with a bullet pass. Green then attacks the hoop dunking on Chris Bosh, and 1. Even LeBron James wanted no part of this slam. Hell, even Jeff Green himself looks shocked at well, himself.

Seed #43 – Jeff Green Circus Shot vs Milwaukee – During a mid-March Sunday evening against the Bucks at the Garden, the C's are putting the finishing touches on an absolute obliteration of the deer. Jeff Green decides to put a little cherry on this sundae with this circus flip shot that somehow goes in. It was a rare luck of the Irish moment for him.
