The Madness continues during the weekend here at Redsarmy.com and so do the eye-opening plays from Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo. Yesterday's matchup featured two of Jeff Green's finer plays since his arrival, but it was KG who had a revival of sorts this season. Many times we heard the phrase "KG from 2008" and many times our eyes confirmed as much. Just ask JaVale McGee of the Washington Wizards. Much like Ronny Turiaf of the New York Knicks, McGee can confirm that KG was much livlier this season.
Seed #23: KG Posterizes McGee – The Celtics are clinging to a mere three-point lead with just over a minute remaining in the first half. Rajon Rondo is calling for what looks like a basic "Floppy" play for Ray Allen. The Wizards seem to snuff this out at first, but Ray uses a quick screen-and-roll option and bounces a pass to KG who posterizes McGee.

Seed #42: Rondo's Needle-Threading Pass Sews up a Pierce Slam – Another running theme we've heard throughout this NBA season (as you'll continue to hear during the draft) is how the league is a point guard dominant league now. As Boston fans, we're truly lucky to have one of the best and most entertaining point guards in the NBA. This play during a Sunday evening game against the Pistons at the Garden is a good example. KG grabs a rebound and hands it off to Rondo. Rondo wastes no time and surgically executes a needle-threading pass to a streaking Paul Pierce for the fast break slam.
