GreenLight Madness: Celtics Top 64 Plays: Round 2 (#6 Seed vs #27 Seed)

This 4th of July weekend will surely feature cookouts, fireworks and a massive crowd of Bostonians attending the celebration at the Hatch Shell.  One of the grandest fireworks shows out there, it's accented with the great Boston Pops orchestra to provide a symphony of blaring horns and drums to go along with the explosions.  Today's GreenLight matchup itself features both fireworks by way of Paul Pierce, and a great team play that any orchestra conductor would be proud of.

Seed #6: Paul Pierce Takes Down Gotham Yet Again – Admittedly, this clutch jumper wasn't nearly as explosive as the one he drilled in December at Madison Square Garden, but it did complete a stirring second half comeback agaist the Knicks.  In a game that featured players getting bloodied, bodies diving everywhere, and Spike Lee doing his thing, Pierce once again completed the final act of the fireworks display with another deadly elbow jumper.

Shamrock Symphony in Philly – Nenad Krstic rebounds a Ray Allen missed three, then kicks it out to Paul Pierce who is camped at the three-point line. Without hesitation, he fires a pass to Ray who smartly went to the hoop after missing his three. Ray, also without hesitation, executes a sweet behind-the-back bounce pass to Krstic, rewarding the big man's efforts. Krstic then slams it home for two.
