Ever since the inception of the "New Big Three" during the summer of 2007, Celtics fans envisioned many thrilling wins, especially in a playoff setting. While we have all been extremely lucky to witness and celebrate what seems like an endless reel of game winning threes by Ray Allen, step-back daggers by Paul Pierce or solid defensive efforts by Kevin Garnett at the buzzer, sometimes important victories are won with a little bit more time on the clock. Today's matchup features two such instances, one against the Knicks, and the other in their lone win against the Heat during the post-season.
Seed #3: KG Jump Hook vs NYK (Game 2 ECQF) – KG leads the way with a jump hook that sent the Garden crowd into a frenzy. Seed #14: Pierce's Threes Seal Game 3 Win For C's – With about two minutes left in the fourth quarter and the Celtics up by 12, Rondo finds Pierce camping on the baseline and drills the first three. Then a minute later, the Celtics move the ball around as Delonte West kicks it out to Pierce who is a couple of steps in from half court and connects on a bomb to seal the game.
