Very skilled bigman… Great footwork down low with a soft touch… Solid baseline jump shot… Undervalued passer with good vision… Fantastic rebounder, especially on the offensive boards with 3.1 offensive rebounds per game last year… Still young with upside…

Not the strongest defensive player… His defensive wins share was 2.3 last year, but he struggles sometimes with on-ball defense… Needs to learn how to play defense before the ball gets deep in the paint… Not a great jump shooter beyond the baseline 10ft jump shot… Monroe struggles sometimes with preventing his man from getting position in the post… Shot just 65.7 percent from the line this past year.
