With the 5-1 loss Sunday at Chicago, the Brewers finished the first half of their 2007 season. While Brewers’ fans might be in the dumps after having dropped 2 of 3 to the second-place Baby Bears, take heart Bucketheads, as The Crew is on pace for: * A 56-25 record at home * A 36-45 record on the road * Meaning an overall record on the season of 92-70 But wait–the above records include only 2 games against the NL’s worst team, Cincinnati–Milwaukee still has 13 games left against the Reds (31-51) in the second half (6 of which are at home)…thus improving their chances. Also, 9 of these games are after the July 31st trading deadline–meaning Ken Griffey, Jr. and/or Adam Dunn may be out of the Reds’ line-up by then. And the Brewers face the lowly Pirates at PNC next (if it doesn’t get rained out)…Soup gets the ball…keep the faith!
