- The Story: Joe Saunders played long toss yesterday, but likely won’t be activated from the DL when eligible this Sunday. The Monkey Says: This still sounds like good news for Saundo, especially since they don’t feel the need to send him on rehab assignment before slotting him back into the rotation.
- The Story: Steve Bisheff is frustrated that Mike Scioscia isn’t getting any play in the Manager of the Year discussion. The Monkey Says: I have to agree, the Angels might end up with the best record in baseball despite countless hardships, I just think people expect the Angels to be good, so Sosh gets no credit.
- AL West Update: The Rangers acquired Ivan Rodriguez but still lost to the Twins yesterday. The Monkey Says: The Rangers now have a little more depth, but are now 5.5 games back of the Angels.
