MWAH Says: Tropeano won’t start until next Monday, but having him with the big-league team allows Mike Scioscia to potentially use him out of the bullpen if needed and, ultimately, to control how he’s used leading up to his start. I still have hope that Tropeano can be the team’s breakout star this season, so I’m excited to see what he can do.

It wasn’t so long ago that they liked him enough to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.
