It was one crazy summer for San Antonio Spurs draftee Adam Hanga.
Sure, his summer may not be able to compete with the one of John Cusack in the 1986 teen flick, but there’s a safe bet that Hanga could take Hoops McCann to school on the hardwood or asphalt.
Nonetheless, Hanga signed a three-year deal with Spanish club Manresa back in May, followed that with being drafted by the Spurs in June and starring for Hungary in a pre-olympic tournament. Busy is one way to describe the Hungarian guard’s globetrotting offseason.
Afterwards Hanga started workouts and settled into a new apartment in Spain. On Sunday, he made his debut for Manresa against FIATC Joventut. In 21 minutes, Hanga finished with seven points, three rebounds and three assists, showing off his athletic ability on a few nice drives to the basket and a monster block.
For more on the game, be sure to wtach a few of his highlights below. Hanga and Manresa take on Fuenlabrada on Wednesday.
