It’s 4th of July and youve got some time to kill, and you have a football itch like no other. You’re already here, so I wont waste your time by selling this site anymore than I need to. You’ve got videos, photos, enough said. But what about the rest? I dont want you to waste your valuable time! THE VERY BEST- www.Buccaneers.com– The Bucs very own site has every thing you need to keep you busy for hours. Videos, photos, articles, search by year, by game, by practice, what more can you ask for? Ok, Details. Thats where www.Bucpower.com comes in. And Powerful it is. Profiles in depth on every single player that ever donned a Buccaneer uniform! Read up the local papers write ups on the games, and check out photos of the players. You’ll find some great commentary from different writers, and your truely writes under “On the Bucs sideline with Nick Houllis”! Paul Stewart runs the site for the Bucs UK, and the message boards are full of great stuff. www.PewterReport.com now does a cool podcast called cover2 where two guys debate a topic on the pros and cons of it. Pewter report is given full access to the Bucs and thus is really the best news source for Bucs info even over the Times and Tribune. The Chat transcripts are a great place to pick up current information too. THE VERY GOOD STUFF www.JoeBucsFan.com– As a regular Joe, the articles tend to sometimes be a tad bit on the hard line realist side, although someone actually does have the official pessimistic side covered, and yours truly has started to cover the optimistic P.O.V. with “The Optimist” columns that currently number only a few so far. While access to One Buc may not be as hearty as other media outlets, they make up for it with direct player contacts at which they excel at. St. Pete Times Online (Tampa Bay.com)– Gary Shelton has been covering the Bucs beat since the Sam Wyche days, and Stephen Holder is excellent too. Tampa Tribune Online (TBO.com) – Ira Kaufman is the leading sports journalist in the Tampa Bay area and Roy Cummings is second to no one is writing about our favorite team. The DHs www.BucsCentral.com– Diligently updated from the other side of the planet far more often than the site mentioned below, which is way overdue for an ownership change. Bucem.com is a complete joke and should be avoided for fear of getting hit by tumbleweeds. The numbers keep going down, your lucky to find a .8 post per day average, and you’ll find 2 ‘fan posts’ in the last two weeks. Your only reason to go here is to have your opinion appear in typeset. Of course I’ll be called everything in the book for writing that, but tell me I am wrong. Seven posts in 9 days, one of them a 3 sentence update (24 hours late) from a guy who wanted that site to be a leading place to go to for news. NFL.com, ESPN.com, Etc- Due to the lack of quality play from the Bucs in the last couple years, you wont see too much Bucs content on these sites, that you cant find on Bucpower.com or Buccaneers.com.
