Happy American Thanksgiving

There are no games today, so you have no good hockey related excuse to avoid your family. We hope that you have a happy holiday in the States, and in Canada, a very good Thursday. There were several games, a full schedule, really, last night, so let’s check those scores and then enjoy our day.

Nashville 3, Buffalo 2 – The Predators scored some goals! That’s a relief, I’m sure.

Carolina 4, Edmonton 1 – And the OPilers ae in last place again. Same as it ever was.

Columbus 2, New Jersey 1 – Yep, this is the weirdest game that is a divisional game on the schedule.

Montreal 5, New York Rangers 1 – Both teams have just 4 losses. I would say the Habs look better right now. Of course,  now Carey Price is out again, so get back to me in about a week.

Pittsburgh 4, St. Lous 3 (OT) – Sidney Crosby is still alive!

Washington 5, Winnipeg 3 – Your daily update: The Jets are still the Thrashers.

Vancouver 3, Minnesota 2 – The Canucks must be stopped.

Boston 3, Detroit 2 (OT) – Peter Chiarelli was definitely the problem, is my conclusion.

New York Islanders 3, Philadelphia 1 – IF I told you that the Islanders are only in 4th place, would you believe me? I would have thought lower.

Tampa Bay 2, Los Angeles 1 (SO) – The Barry Melrose Classic goes to the Lightning this time, but only on a technicality.

Arizona 4, Anaheim 2 – Oh Anaheim, you just keep falling apart.

Ottawa 5, Colorado 3 – Shhhhhh…. Ottawa’s pretty good.

Chicago 5, San Jose 2 – If the season ended today, the Blackhawks would play LA in the first round. That’s fun.
