Today is the 85th birthday for former Penn State head coach Joe Paterno. To me it is still odd to write that phrase.

The legacy of Paterno has certainly taken a beating over the past two months. Some of it has been fair, while some of it has not. But we’re not hear to get in to that debate today. We will just wish him a happy birthday, as he continues his bout with lung cancer treatment (reports are he is doing well and improving, as much as possible I suppose).
I created this video two years ago, and felt it was worth digging out of the archives today. Enjoy.
