I don’t care if you like soccer or not (and if you are like my co-workers, you don’t), but it sure is cool when a sporting event can bring together an entire country like the World Cup does.

Anyways, let’s get back on topic, as we are now 74 days away from Badger Football, which means it’s Hayden Biegel’s day.

Biegel’s Story So Far:

– Won the Joe Thomas award for most-outstanding senior offensive lineman in Wisconsin.

– Majoring in Human Development and Family Studies.

What to Expect in 2014:

While there won’t be a huge turnover on the offensive line this year, Hayden Biegel has a chance to show why he was rated the number six recruit in Wisconsin coming out of high school. Look for him to start behind Tyler Marz at left tackle and take a decent number of snaps in some of the early games. If he takes advantage of those snaps, he could be ready to fill in if needed.
