Recruitapalooza Saturday:
Tomorrow will be quite the showcase for Ohio State football, as the Buckeyes are hosting quite possibly the best group of kids at one game ever. A potential for 14, 5-Star recruits to be attending the Buckeyes game against the Cornhuskers. Among the visitors will be current commitments Tate Martell, Josh Myers, Chase Young, Jake Moretti, Trevon Grimes, Amir Riep, Jerron Cage, Wyatt Davis, Tyjon Lindsey, Shaun Wade, Brandon White, and JK Dobbins. I am not sure that Urban Meyer and company could have asked for a better turnout from their current commitments to show up to try and help with their recruiting effort to close out 2017 and start 2018.
It will be important for the Buckeyes to make their mark with Shaun Wade, as he is still considered a strong candidate to end up at Alabama instead of Ohio State, despite remaining 100% committed to the Buckeyes. Getting him on campus and around his potential future teammates will go a long way towards securing his ultimate verbal. I would expect the Buckeyes to ask Wade to cancel any remaining trips in the future if he is indeed going to sign with the Buckeyes.
If they don’t get that loving feeling from Wade, I would expect Bubba Bolden to be the next man up for the Buckeyes, and he may be in regardless. Β He will be in attendance with two of his current teammates in Martell and Lindsey and from all the things I’ve been seeing and hearing he wants to be a Buckeye. I will go out on a ledge here and predict that Bolden will commit to the Buckeyes this weekend, making four kids from Bishop Gorman for the 2017 class.
The Buckeyes will also be looking to jump start their 2018 class that is currently led by quarterback Emory Jones and running back Brian Snead. The #1 running back in the class of 2018 Zamir White out of North Carolina will be in attendance. While all the prognosticators have him staying down south, never count out Ohio State when it comes to running backs, as the output to the NFL has been nothing outside of spectacular recently.
Also keep a close eye on Jackson Carman as a potential commitment. While he has visited Alabama and Notre Dame, he has a 100% crystal ball projection to the Buckeyes for a reason. It may not happen this weekend, but all signs point to him becoming a Buckeye before all is said and done.
The Buckeyes will also look to make impressions on 5-star Anthony Hines this weekend. While it is highly unlikely he picks the Buckeyes, getting him on campus for a night game atmosphere with some of the best recruits on hand won’t hurt things.
There is a lot to look forward to this weekend for the Buckeyes on and off the field. We will keep track of things here for you as we hear them, and have a full recap for you on Monday.

Underrated Ohio Star Decides Today:
Pickerington, Ohio’s Morgan Ellison will decide his future today, and it will not involve Ohio State. Why include him here then? He has been on the Buckeyes radar for a while now, but has not earned the coveted offer letter. I feel like Ellison is one of those kids that will break out on the national stage once he gets to college and is able to prove himself and the Buckeyes will be kicking themselves for not taking a flier on him. He has been hampered by injuries the past two seasons, but has been putting up good numbers so far in his senior campaign.
Update: He has committed to the University of Ohio Bobcats.

Two Visitors Delay until Michigan:
Two potential visitors for the Nebraska game have postponed their visits until November 26th when the Buckeyes take on the Michigan Wolverines. Darnay Holmes a 5-star defensive back and Taron Vincent a 5-star defensive tackle for the class of 2017 are both unable to make it up this weekend to see the Buckeyes in action.
Holmes would be flying in from California, and bringing his cousin Brandon Radley-Hines along with him, and that looks like it will be happening when the Buckeyes take on the Wolverines later this year. Holmes was once a big time target for the Buckeyes and he still might be depending on what happens with Shaun Wade. I still think its likely that he ends up at either UCLA or Nebraska.

Vincent’s IMG team has a playoff game on Saturday and that is forcing him to miss the Nebraska game. Vincent has a top five of Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, UCLA and Michigan.
