Line: Cowboys by 17!
Vegas sure doesn't have much confidence in the Boilermakers. I think if you take a look at their wins you will see why. Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. Not exactly a who's who. The one positive, if you want to look at it that way, is that all of their losses came against bowl teams (Ohio State being the one exception due to probation). The Boilermakers gave up the 70th most points in the Nation playing against a B1G schedule that isn't exactly known for it's offensive prowess.
The Cowboys come into the game 4th in the Nation in scoring and 6th in passing yards. I simply think this is a bad match-up for Purdue. Oklahoma State lost their last two games but it was to Oklahoma in overtime and a Baylor team that was playing their best football of the season. It's going to be tough to cover a 17 point spread but it's hard to pick against the Cowboys in this one.
