During a press conference/fashion show at Rentschler Field this afternoon, the UConn Huskies football program introduced a new look this year. The new uniforms bare a resemblance to the uniforms worn by the Penn State Nittany Lions.
The unis are traditional. No “Connecticut” across the front. Just a ‘C’ at the neck and the Nike swoosh to the right. To the left of the ‘C’ will be the the Big East logo. There will be two sets of uniform to play in at home: National flag blue shirts, white numbers, dark blue pants with white stripes on the side; and blue shirts with white pants with a blue stripe down the side of the pants.
Away: White shirts, blue trim, numbers in dark blue, blue pants, and white shirts and white pants with the blue trim.
So now that you’ve seen them, what do you think?
